Hey Doug! I'm trying to go as green as possible and up my recycling efforts. Question for you . . . have you ever considered using the Bio-degradable Corn packing peanuts? I read something about it, and at our end, all we would have to do is pour water over them, they disolve and we rinse them down the drain instead of dumping them into the landflll. Or ... is it cost prohibitive? I currently take the stryo peanuts home and put them into the recyling bin, but after seeing the "snow" storm I caused on the highway due to a broken bag, it got me thinking. Looking forward to your input. Thanks.

I recycle all my peanuts with a friend who sells gift baskets and ships them all over the country. I just bag up the peanuts and cardboard and send them to her. It saves her from buying them and I get to recycle.

We were using bio degradeable peanuts for awhile but it had an unanticipated issue - mice love it! Try contacting your local UPS or Fedex service store to see if they will accept recycled peanuts. Sorry! Doug
