mounting lei for shipping

Joy 9 posts Jan 04, 2010 1:05 PM	Happy New Year! I have a customer that I need to ship a memorial frame with a lei around a 12x16 with photo in the center. Do you need just hot glue or wire each the petals to the back? I am so afraid what the shipping would do to the lei. Anyone had any experience with leis? Guess that is what insurance is for.. Hope you have a great year and thank you for any advice!
George 3 posts Jan 05, 2010 7:22 AM	Hi Joy. We did a very large shadow with four leis almost entirely composed of stephanotis. We glued each but also wired most to the back. With shipping we wanted as little movement of the leis as possible. It worked for us, but I agree... there was a higher level of fear in shipping!
